President’s Day Weekend features three days of exciting tours and special events, kicking off a brand new year of fun things to do in Cape May. Weekend activities include:

Crafts in Winter - The region’s top crafts people return to Cape May Convention Hall, Saturday, February 16 to share their special hand-crafted items.

Antiques in Winter - This high quality Antiques Show brings the region’s most sought after antiques dealers to Cape May Convention Hall, Sunday, February 17.

Cape May INNteriors Tour and Tea - These tours provide a special opportunity to see four of Cape May’s famous bed and breakfast inns and guest houses, followed by a delicious Light Tea at the Twinings Tearoom at the Physick Estate. A trolley shuttle runs a continuous loop along the tour route.

Gourmet Brunch Walk - A walking tour of Victorian Cape May’s gingerbread architecture, followed by a gourmet brunch at the Mad Batter Restaurant.

Historic District Walking Tour - Takes visitors on a guided stroll down the streets of Cape May’s Historic District.

The Emlen Physick Estate - Cape May’s only Victorian house museum, offers a guided tour featuring a glimpse at daily life in a Victorian household.

 

PRESIDENTS DAY WEEKEND

· Somebody to Cheer For” Exhibit

This exhibit in the Carriage House Gallery at the Physick Estate looks at various New Jersey baseball teams that were part of the Negro League Baseball organization from 1860-1950. Featured will be the rise and fall of the baseball league as well as stories about individual teams and heroes.

Cape May Lighthouse, Oil House and Museum Shop - This 1859 structure has been totally restored. Climb 199 stairs to the top and see the Cape May peninsula from a different perspective.

Self-Guided Audio Tour - A self-guided walking tour of Cape May’s Historic District. Comes complete with Acoustiguide Inform handheld unit, map and index.
